The Country House
M ontebello Country House is a 120 year old typical country house surrounded by oaks and olive trees. The area was once inhabited by the Piceni, a civilization with traces that date back to the VI-VII century B.C.
Its location makes it an ideal place to start cultural, religious and gastronomic itineraries, In just a few kilometers distance you can find medieval hamlets and villages with authentic cultural, historical and gastronomic events and fairs year round.
You can reach Porto San Giorgio (beach) in just 20 minutes and the Monti Sibillini National Park (mountains) in 40 minutes.
Some History
M ontebello Country House is a a typical country house surrounded by centuries-old oaks which dates back to the end of the 19th century.
Up to the 70s it had been the house of a large family of farmers who worked and managed the land surrounding the area.
The house had been uninhabited for 30 years, but in 2008 renovation work began in order to create a tourist facility in harmony with the local history and the traditions thanks also to the rediscovering in the attics and barns of old instruments once used by the farmers.
Today’s country house is a place provided with all the essentials for a great holiday.
Hospitality
G uests at Montebello country house begin their day with a hearty breakfast; they can enjoy local products of the highest quality such as bread fresh from the oven, handmade jams and marmalades, honey, yogurt, coffee and tea, fruit juices and typical cakes of Le Marche. Breakfast can be eaten in our garden or in our charming living room, where time seems to have stopped.
The country house has 5 bright and cosy bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and tv.
Each room was furnished with great care and simple taste which once characterized these types of buildings.
The living-room is a place our guests can share their time together or organize cultural events surrounded by the warm atmosphere of the good old days.
Our saltwater pool is a spot available for our guests where they can enjoy a unique view.
